Hi dear sister..
One thing, I am very amazed on the topic of the "Happy Mother's Day", the comments are still on-going. Oh boy! I really don't understand where do they find the scriptures for their beliefs. Anyway, keeping my hands off these debates, as this is going no where. Going round and round the circle. I can't find any Bible scriptures, so.. best is to be silent. Isn't it?

Re: Hi dear sister..
I've decided it isn't worth replying, because I've already said what I wanted to say, it's up to them to investigate the scriptures further or to justify their own beliefs. They keep saying "Catholics don't worship Mary" when I know at least some Catholics do. That just tells me they want to justify themselves by simply repeating what they believe to be true. It happens a lot in debates.
In the meantime, I thought about what they said, and it's true, I can be a hypocrite, though it is not for the reasons mentioned.
The other thing is the assumptions they have made about me that are not true. All they have to do is go to my journal and see a bit of my background. One of them even called me "sir". :)
I'm not going to browbeat anyone. They can either think about all this, or convince themselves they are right. It's their call.

Re: Hi dear sister..
haha.. I saw that comment too. They do have true Believer in Catholics too. We can't judge them, you are right. I definitely do learn something out of here. =)

Re: Hi dear sister..
There may be sincere people, but unfortunately they are still practicing error. We can't be going about thinking about how to justify ourselves, because what excuse will we have in the Judgement?
2 Corinthians 13:4-6(NIV)
4 For to be sure, he was crucified in weakness, yet he lives by God's power. Likewise, we are weak in him, yet by God's power we will live with him to serve you. 5 Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test? 6 And I trust that you will discover that we have not failed the test.

I know there are times I'm in error, and I don't always like what is pointed out to me in the scriptures, either. Sometimes it's tough on the old ego. But I suppose that has to do with practicing humility. Something I'm not that good at, yet. But working on it. ;)

I'm sorry, but I do not understand what you are referring to, given this conversation is about something written over 5 years ago...
